Description - Your Daily Adventure

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests-encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-adhering to established guidelines.
• Assess results for accuracy, identify and troubleshoot any errors, and maintain lab equipment through preventative maintenance and calibration.
• Aid in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, provide training to new staff or students, and ensure adherence to lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be completed within one year of hire.
• Ensure current certification is maintained throughout your employment.
