Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ emotional, social, and financial needs.
\n
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, and coping strategies.
\n
• Coordinate post-discharge planning and services by liaising with community organizations to ensure continuity of care for clients transitioning from more intensive settings.
\n
• Deliver emotional support and education to clients and their families regarding treatment options, available resources, and coping strategies.
\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to promote integrated care, collaborating closely with psychologists, medical staff, and other social workers.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with all legal and organizational standards.
\n
• Participate in telehealth sessions as needed, adapting to different modalities of care.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention services, providing immediate support during high-stress situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on the Latinx community, which may include underserved populations facing barriers to accessing mental health care. You will encounter a wide range of issues, from adjustment disorders related to immigration challenges to long-term mental health conditions. Understanding and addressing these unique cultural dynamics is vital to your success in this role.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
\n
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

• Strong skills in verbal and written communication, with the ability to connect effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or healthcare setting is preferred.

• Familiarity with mental health diagnoses and treatment protocols, along with knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.

• Experience working with the Latinx population or in culturally informed practices is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
