Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for students, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to identify specific needs.

• Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs, coping strategies, and cultural considerations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in both individual and group settings to support emotional and psychological growth.

• Provide crisis intervention services and coordinate with school personnel and parents when students face acute emotional or behavioral challenges.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, to ensure compliance with clinic policies and state regulations.

• Educate students and their families on mental health topics, empowering them with the knowledge and tools necessary for effective management of their conditions.

• Engage with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including educators, case managers, and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care for each student.

• Regularly assess treatment effectiveness through outcome measures and adjust strategies as necessary, ensuring the highest quality care.

• Stay updated on developments in mental health practices, integrating new research into your clinical work.

• Uphold the highest ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of all patient information at all times.

You will primarily work with children, adolescents, and their families in school settings, addressing a range of mental health issues from anxiety and depression to trauma-related challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.

Compensation and Benefits\n
