Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

Registered Nurse – Surgical Unit

Shift: Days 06:45–19:15

Contract Length: 13 weeks or longer

Minimum 2 years clinical experience required

BLS certification required

Experience with post-operative care for general surgery, orthopedic, GI, vascular, and hepatobiliary patients preferred

Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition preferred

Familiarity with EPIC charting system

Provide comprehensive nursing care to post-surgical adult patients

Monitor patient health and vital signs, identifying any changes in condition

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient recovery

Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy as needed

Ensure proper post-operative care and assist in pain management

Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Up to 7 days of request time off (RTO) auto-approved (no holidays)

Must work 2 of 3 major holidays

All RTO must be pre-approved; cannot request additional RTO after signing

Pre-start modules required (acute care ~8–10 hours) to be completed prior to start
