What You ll Do:

• Cover the Emergency Department at Berkshire Medical Center and North Adams Hospital
• Float between facilities based on scheduling needs, primarily night shifts
• Provide high-quality emergency care to trauma level III patients in a fast-paced environment
• Supervise paramedics and ambulance services within the ED
• Collaborate with hospital staff, including hospitalists and APPs
• Respond to emergencies and provide essential clinical interventions as needed
• Monitor patient admissions and assist with ED flow

What You Need:

• Massachusetts Medical License in good standing
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• At least 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and handle complex emergency cases
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment:
This position offers the opportunity to work within a high-volume Emergency Department managing approximately 55,000 annual visits. The facility operates with EMR software Meditech and handles a broad spectrum of emergency cases, providing a stimulating environment for experienced providers. You ll be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional patient care in North Adams, MA.
