Location: Belmont, NC

Start Date: Late 2024 (opening expected)

Duration: Full-Time

Shift: 24-hour shifts with day rounds, rotating call from home

Hours/Week: 36-40 hours

Employment Type: Permanent

License/Certs: Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (must have NC license or eligible)

Experience: 2+ years of NNP experience required (excluding RN experience)

What You'll Do

• Perform daily rounds on newborns in a newly built, 10-bed Level I nursery with an anticipated volume of 600 deliveries/year
• Attend deliveries as requested and provide stabilization and management of neonates
• Facilitate and manage neonatal transports to higher-level NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia
• Collaborate with a team of 4 NNPs and multiple neonatologists in a supportive environment
• Take on-call responsibilities from home, providing care and consultation for newborns during off-hours
• Support the growth and development of the new unit, contributing to quality neonatal care standards

What You Need

• Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (must be BC in neonatal specialty)
• NC state licensure or eligibility
• 2+ years of dedicated NNP experience (not including RN experience)
• Ability to work night shifts and on-call from home
