Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify individual needs and treatment goals.

• Offer one-on-one and family therapy tailored to the specific needs identified during assessments, ensuring that therapy is aligned with best practices in the field.

• Document therapy sessions and complete necessary billing tasks, treatment plans, and insurance authorization documents within designated timeframes to ensure compliance and efficient administrative processes.

• Develop crisis intervention plans, safety and relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to help clients maintain stability in their lives.
\n
• Facilitate the creation of effective discharge plans to support clients as they transition out of therapy.
\n
• Adhere to all federal and state laws and organizational policies to provide safe and ethical care.
\n
• Engage in continuing education and professional training to stay abreast of developments in mental health practices and treatment.
\n
• Participate in case consultations and agency meetings to collaborate on client care and best practices.
\n
• Complete required licensure and mandatory training to maintain your credentials and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a key member of our team, you will work primarily with diverse populations facing a myriad of mental health challenges. Your role will involve assisting individuals and families grappling with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns, among others. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field that is recognized for licensing.

• Valid licensure as a mental health therapist (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy methods is a plus.
