Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, using evidence-based practices to create personalized treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to help clients build coping skills and resilience.

• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring ethical practice and the safeguarding of client information.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, routinely collaborating with psychiatrists and psychologists to coordinate holistic care that addresses both mental and emotional well-being.

• Engage in peer consultation and case review sessions to continuously enhance the quality of care, keeping abreast of industry best practices and evolving methodologies.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.

• Stay informed about current research and advancements in mental health to ensure the delivery of evidence-based treatment strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or similar credential in the state of New York.

• Proven expertise in implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques with a strong foundation in solution-focused interventions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating the establishment of strong therapeutic relationships with clients and their families.

• Demonstrated ability to critically assess and address complex client needs, employing effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with a Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, along with advanced therapeutic training, will be given priority. Previous experience working with a diverse client base or in a community health setting is advantageous, as is familiarity with teletherapy modalities and tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation package for this role is competitive, with a salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, complemented by performance bonuses.
