Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, enabling flexible work hours and a supportive work-life balance. With a regular workweek from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, you will be able to engage with clients through our comprehensive telehealth platform, utilizing digital tools to conduct assessments and deliver therapy in a comfortable setting for both you and the clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients via telehealth, identifying specific care needs and developing tailored treatment plans.

• Provide individual and group counseling tailored to the unique emotional challenges associated with aging, including coping with loss and adapting to life transitions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to design and implement comprehensive care plans for geriatric patients, ensuring holistic support and well-being.

Your primary focus will be the elderly population, a demographic that often faces unique challenges in mental health, such as depression, anxiety, and grief. At Life Stance, you will support seniors navigating these issues, especially those dealing with transitions related to aging, death of loved ones, and changes in health status. Working with clients from diverse backgrounds, you will employ culturally sensitive methodologies to ensure inclusive and effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential is essential.
