Key Responsibilities\n

In the capacity of Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your key responsibilities will encompass:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients’ psychosocial needs to identify appropriate treatment interventions. This may involve crisis intervention, short-term counseling, and coordinating referrals to specialized services.

• Assisting clients in navigating healthcare systems by guiding them through the completion of necessary forms for entitlements, insurance documentation, and other supportive benefits.

• Connecting patients to prescription assistance programs that can alleviate financial burdens associated with medication, enabling better health outcomes.

• Advocating for patients during interactions with community agencies to ensure they receive the necessary support and resources.
\n
• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of patient interactions, progress, and treatment details, ensuring compliance with both legal and ethical standards.

• Coordinating logistical support for patients, such as transportation services when needed, to facilitate their access to care.

• Participating in team meetings and case conferences to collaborate on patient care strategies and share insights with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will mainly focus on serving a varied patient population experiencing a wide array of mental health challenges. You will work closely with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological conditions requiring timely support. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling is required.

• Possession of an active or independent license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in a mental health counseling capacity, demonstrating proficiency in case management and therapeutic techniques.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of professional experience are required, we also value candidates who may have additional training in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or telehealth practices. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and strong technical proficiency in using telehealth platforms will be considered an asset.
