Labor & Employment Associate AttorneyDirect Counsel is seeking a Labor Associate Attorney to join a prestigious Am Law firm in Anchorage, AK; Los Angeles, CA; Portland, OR; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA.This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney with 4-6 years of traditional labor and employment experience to join a nationally recognized Labor, Employment & Immigration practice. The successful candidate will represent employers in sophisticated labor relations matters, workplace disputes, and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board while working closely with a collaborative team.ResponsibilitiesAdvise and represent employers in traditional labor matters, including union organizing campaigns, collective bargaining, grievance and arbitration proceedings, unfair labor practice charges, and labor-management disputes.Represent clients in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other advocacy materials.Counsel employers on labor relations and workplace compliance issues.Collaborate with attorneys across offices on complex labor and employment matters.Develop and maintain strong client relationships through practical, business-focused legal advice.Contribute to business development initiatives, client alerts, and thought leadership opportunities.QualificationsJ.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.Active membership in a U.S. state bar.4-6 years of labor and employment experience.Experience representing employers in traditional labor matters and labor relations.Prior experience handling matters before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple matters in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA: $225,000-$330,000Portland, OR: $215,000-$315,000Anchorage, AK: $158,000-$258,000Comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time offAnnual bonus eligibility
