Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for students, developing personalized treatment plans that utilize best practices and innovative solution-focused interventions. Utilize various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address individual mental health needs, prioritizing age-appropriate strategies. Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and documentation protocols. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and educational staff to coordinate holistic care for students and their families. Engage in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to continually enhance the effectiveness and quality of treatment provided. Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment choices, and community resources, empowering them with the information they need to optimize their journey toward wellness. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on students who encounter various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. You will build rapport and trust with young clients, ensuring they feel safe and understood throughout their treatment journey. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license issued in the state of Washington. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services, particularly within a school or youth-focused environment. Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused and evidence-based psychotherapy interventions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with children and their families. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to navigate complex clinical scenarios. A collaborative spirit and the capability to work well within a team setting. Preferred Experience Experience working with diverse populations and understanding the unique challenges faced by school-aged children and adolescents. Previous experience in telehealth and virtual counseling, adapting techniques to suit online platforms. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary range from $80,000 to $100,000 per year based on qualifications and experience.
