Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your primary responsibility is to deliver high-quality psychotherapy services to clients experiencing a range of mental health concerns. Your daily tasks will include: Conducting in-depth clinical assessments to identify clients' psychological and emotional challenges, which inform tailored treatment plans. Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities that suit client needs. Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Collaborating with interdisciplinary treatment teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care. Engaging in regular case discussions and clinical reviews, contributing to shared learning and enhancing therapeutic outcomes. Providing psychoeducation and support to clients and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health issues and community resources. Staying updated on the latest research and trends in mental health to integrate current best practices into your therapeutic approach. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Qualifications A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State. Preferred Experience In addition to the above qualifications, ideal candidates will have experience using digital health technologies for teletherapy and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
