Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your primary role will be to deliver high-quality psychotherapy services. Your responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, followed by tailored treatment planning to address each patient's unique mental health concerns. Utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to facilitate healing and personal growth. Documenting clinical sessions accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards. Collaborating closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Participating in regular team meetings and case consultations to share insights, enhance service delivery, and improve patient outcomes. Providing education and resources to patients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment options, and local support services. Engaging in ongoing professional development by staying informed about the latest trends and research in the mental health field. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will involve engaging with a diverse range of clients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other complex mental health issues. Qualifications A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. A valid license to practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington. A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience focused on psychotherapy. Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex clinical situations. Preferred Experience Experience in a telehealth setting, particularly in managing remote therapy sessions effectively. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient patient documentation and scheduling. Background in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care.
