Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include: Developing personalized treatment plans based on thorough clinical assessments, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Actively participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss and refine client treatment strategies, ensuring holistic and effective care. Monitoring clients' progress through regular follow-up sessions, documenting changes, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to support their continuous improvement. Providing guidance and support to clients and their families, taking into consideration their emotional, social, and psychological well-being. Collaborating with educational institutions, parents, and other stakeholders to advocate for and address student needs when applicable. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will primarily focus on clients within a hospice setting, requiring sensitivity, compassion, and a deep understanding of end-of-life care. You will assist patients and their families in navigating emotional challenges, providing critical support that enhances their quality of life during this sensitive time. Your expertise as an LICSW is invaluable in helping clients articulate their needs and aspirations, ultimately contributing to their psychological and emotional well-being. Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following qualifications: Active LICSW licensure in the state of Washington. A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program. Strong verbal communication skills, essential for effective counseling and patient interaction. Proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving to design effective treatment plans that cater to individual client circumstances. Proven ability to motivate and coach clients, facilitating their journey toward positive behavioral changes. Preferred Experience The ideal candidate will have at least two to three years of relevant experience in social work, particularly in settings that require an understanding of hospice care, palliative care, or end-of-life issues. Previous experience working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams is highly beneficial. Knowledge of community resources and referral networks is advantageous for enhancing clients' support systems.
