Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct virtual, comprehensive psychosocial assessments to thoroughly evaluate clients strengths, vulnerabilities, and mental health needs.
\n Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group sessions, utilizing a variety of modalities to ensure holistic care.
\n Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate a seamless approach to integrated care that supports clients overall wellness and recovery.
\n Advocate for clients, ensuring their access to essential community resources, support services, and rights are upheld throughout their treatment process.
\n Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record systems.
\n Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and professional development workshops to stay informed on best practices and enhance your clinical skills.
\n Patient Population / Client Focus\n In this role, you will primarily work with individuals undergoing detoxification and treatment for substance use disorders, alongside those facing co-occurring mental health challenges. Your empathetic approach will be vital in establishing rapport and fostering trust with a diverse clientele, many of whom come from varied cultural backgrounds and life experiences.
Qualifications\n \n Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
\n Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
\n A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services, particularly in settings involving substance use recovery or mental health.
\n Strong proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and creating individualized treatment plans that consider various psychosocial factors.
\n Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
\n A commitment to cultural competence, social justice, and adherence to ethical practices in all interactions.
\n Preferred Experience\n \n Familiarity with evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other therapeutic modalities.
\n Experience working in a detox center or similar clinical environment, understanding the complexities of substance use and mental health integration.
\n Certification in evidence-based practices that enhance treatment efficacy.
