Work Environment\n

This remote role allows for flexible hours Monday through Friday. While working from home, you will engage with clients through video conferencing platforms, manage case documentation via electronic health record (EHR) systems, and collaborate with your colleagues as part of a multidisciplinary team. Our outpatient office model ensures that you will directly impact clients' lives while balancing work and personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial consultations with clients to assess their mental health status and identify areas requiring intervention.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Facilitate regular individual and group therapy sessions to support clients in overcoming challenges related to mental health disorders.

• Continuously evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly while providing them with essential coping strategies and resources.

• Coordinate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, for comprehensive care that addresses the multifaceted needs of clients.

• Document client interactions, treatment progress, and other relevant information in the electronic health record system to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work closely with diverse clients, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Your work will directly contribute to improving their mental health outcomes by providing compassionate care and evidence-based treatment tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of related experience in a mental health or counseling setting.
\n
• A strong foundation in mental health disorders and a familiarity with various therapeutic modalities that cater to individual needs.

• Proficient in crisis intervention and maintaining professionalism during challenging situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
