Accounting Assistant
Our client in Media is seeking an Accounting Assistant! Great location - Downtown Media - free parking onsite.
Job details for Accounting Assistant:
- Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
- $25/HR
- Healthcare benefits after 30-days
- Business casual dress code
- Parking lot - free parking
- Paid weekly
Job responsibilities for Accounting Assistant:
- Assist with bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, AP/AR and tax-prep
- Sort and open large quantities of mail
- Prepares documents for scanning into software system
- Verify data in the software system; enter return mail
- Mail notices to claimants
- Answers phones and emails in a courteous and professional manner
Job requirements for Accounting Assistant:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience working in accounting roles
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Must be able to pass required background screenings
