As a Mental Health Counselor at our Detox Center, you will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and case managers, ensuring a cohesive approach to client care. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and screenings of clients' mental health concerns to establish comprehensive treatment plans.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment strategies that address unique client challenges, promoting empowerment and resilience.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies tailored to achieve client goals.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care for clients, enhancing treatment outcomes through shared insights and expertise.

• Educating and supporting families involved in the recovery process, fostering understanding and encouraging participation in therapeutic activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus primarily on women facing a spectrum of mental health challenges, particularly those connected to the detoxification process. You will treat clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional difficulties, providing empathetic support as they navigate their paths to recovery.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is required, demonstrating a sound understanding of therapeutic practices.

• Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and the treatment team.
\n
• Ability to establish rapport with clients and motivate them through their healing journeys, demonstrating strong therapeutic skills.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum qualification is a Bachelor's degree, candidates holding a Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field will be preferred. Additional experience with diverse populations and specialized training in trauma-informed care or substance abuse counseling is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
