Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Sunshine Counseling & Recovery Clinic, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for clients.
\n
• Providing weekly therapy sessions to individuals and couples, focusing on their specific challenges and goals.
\n
• Utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
\n
• Monitoring client progress and adapting therapeutic approaches as needed to ensure effectiveness in treatment.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals when appropriate to refer clients for additional support, including psychiatric evaluations and other specialist services.
\n
• Documenting client interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes following established protocols and confidentiality standards.
\n
• Participating in team meetings and continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals and families coping with a variety of issues such as:

• Alcohol and substance abuse
\n
• Physical and psychological abuse
\n
• Grief and loss
\n
• Family conflicts and sibling rivalry
\n
• Challenges in blended families and remarriages
\n
• Adjustment to separation and divorce
\n
• Job stress and other medical issues

This diverse caseload will require cultural sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills to effectively foster trust and rapport with clients.\n

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• A proven record of providing therapeutic support to individuals and families.
\n
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with an eye for detail.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n
