Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in Stafford, Virginia. Operating in a full-time capacity from Monday to Friday, you will engage with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical abilities and limitations to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement and oversee treatment programs across various specialties, including orthopedic conditions, pediatric development, neurological disorders, and sports medicine injuries.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening to patient needs and addressing their concerns throughout treatment.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based approaches to optimize patient outcomes and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Provide high-quality therapeutic interventions at patients' homes or in-clinic settings, using specialized techniques to facilitate recovery and functional restoration.
• Educate patients and their caregivers regarding exercises, recovery strategies, and lifestyle modifications to support their long-term health.
• Meet established productivity goals while maintaining a high standard of care and adhering to organizational objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively connect with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Competence with word processing and electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate documentation.
• Ability to form meaningful relationships with patients, fostering trust and motivation to achieve their recovery goals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a clinical setting, ideally handling a varied caseload, which enhances your ability to adapt treatment approaches based on patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
