Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the specific needs of clients seeking therapy for various life challenges, relationship strains, and mental health concerns.

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that are tailored to the individual, couple, or family, ensuring measurable progress towards their goals.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records that comply with both organizational policies and state regulations, allowing for continuity of care and accountability.

• Engage and educate family members or significant others in the therapeutic process when appropriate, fostering a collaborative atmosphere that supports an effective healing journey.

• Establish and sustain respectful professional relationships with colleagues and support staff to enhance the therapeutic process and client outcomes.

• Collaborate with fellow clinicians and local community organizations, ensuring a holistic approach to health care is provided to our clients.

• Act as an advocate for clients in crisis, providing immediate interventions and support during emergency situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base, encompassing individuals facing personal mental health struggles, couples dealing with relational conflicts, and families navigating complex dynamics. You will encounter a range of challenges including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, and family conflict. By implementing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, you will support clients in creating attainable paths toward achieving their personal and relational aspirations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (or an equivalent field) is required.

• A valid LMFT license in the State of Vermont is mandatory.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of LMFT practice standards, ethics, and regulations.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Strong organizational abilities to manage caseloads and maintain accurate documentation.

• A calm demeanor and the capability to respond effectively to challenging situations will be essential in this role.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing marriage and family therapy is preferred.

• Experience with telehealth services and technologies is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Your contributions to InStride Health Associates will be recognized with a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
