Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and utilize solution-focused therapy techniques to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Employ a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to facilitate client healing and growth.

• Maintain thorough and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring the privacy and safety of all client records.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to discuss client care and enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish strong therapeutic relationships, making clients feel safe and understood.
