Work Environment\n

This role will primarily operate in a remote telehealth setting , offering flexibility and allowing you to connect with clients via secure video platforms. Our team values collaboration and communication, ensuring that each member feels supported despite geographical distances. You will engage closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including case managers and psychiatrists, to deliver comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have various responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs and crafting individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.

• Delivering evidence-based therapy to individuals, groups, and families, utilizing proven psychological methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals in the community to ensure the delivery of coordinated and holistic care for all clients.

• Providing crisis intervention for clients who are in acute distress, ensuring they receive immediate and compassionate support during emergencies.

• Engaging in community outreach programs that promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma associated with seeking help.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will span a diverse range of clients, including individuals from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your ability to navigate these differences will enhance both your clinical experience and cultural competence, ensuring that all clients receive the empathetic care they need. You will work with clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• Minimum requirement is a master's degree or a doctoral degree in fields including Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Proven track record of exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, establishing rapport and building therapeutic relationships with diverse clients.

• Exhibit a high degree of cultural competence and sensitivity while working with clients from various backgrounds.

• Strong organizational skills to manage documentation effectively and ensure compliance with legal standards.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a telehealth setting is preferred, as well as familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Prior experience in community mental health settings or crisis intervention is a plus.
