This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work schedule while ensuring that you can maintain work-life balance. Our work hours are set from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, encouraging a supportive environment for both our staff and clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with clients, creating individualized plans that align with their specific challenges, goals, and preferences.

• Implement and administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), customized to meet the needs of each client.

• Provide psychoeducation and supportive resources to clients and their families, helping them understand mood disorders and available treatment options.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans in response to their evolving needs and outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, integrated approach to each client's care.

• Remain informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continuously enhance therapeutic methodologies.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment strategies in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to discuss cases and share insights for collective learning.

• Actively advocate for clients, aiming to de-stigmatize mood disorders and promote mental health support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, along with associated anxiety-related challenges. Our clientele includes a diverse demographic, reflecting a variety of cultural backgrounds, ages, and unique life experiences. Your role will entail adapting your therapeutic approach to meet the diverse needs of each client, ensuring they feel heard, respected, and appropriately supported.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of and expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• Familiarity with psychopharmacology and the capacity to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other professionals.

• Demonstrated success in achieving positive outcomes with clients dealing with mood disorders.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting, especially with telehealth platforms.

• Strong understanding of integrated healthcare models and their application to mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
