Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Holds a valid Physical Therapist license for California
• Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Familiarity with IEP (Individualized Education Program) assessments and documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, families, and students
• Ability to adapt to a flexible caseload and prioritize student needs
• Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough IEP assessments to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct physical therapy services to elementary students in accordance with their IEP goals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, aides, and other specialists
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Provide guidance and support to staff regarding mobility, positioning, and accessibility needs within the classroom
• Assist in the transition process for students returning from services previously managed by another Physical Therapist

This position follows a Monday-Friday schedule, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while making a difference in students’ lives. You’ll handle a flexible caseload, ensuring each child receives personalized attention and care.
