Job Opportunity: Orthopedic Surgeon

Our organization is in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon for a full-time inpatient position located in Mason City, Iowa. This role presents a chance to deliver advanced orthopedic surgical care in a collaborative and patient-centered hospital environment, primarily focusing on patients with acute injuries. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver orthopedic and trauma care for emergency situations and hospitalized patients.
• Perform emergency surgical procedures for complex injuries, including acute musculoskeletal trauma, fractures (both complex and open), joint dislocations, ligament injuries, and postoperative care.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, participate in trauma rounds, and contribute to care planning.
• Utilize the DaVinci Xi robotic platform for surgical procedures.
• Work a 7 on/7 off schedule, totaling 14 days per month, with 12 hours on-site and 12 hours on call.
• Access onsite medical imaging and pharmacy services.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Position Details:

• Salary: $662,000
• Extra Shift Compensation: Available
• Recruitment Incentive: $150,000

Our organization maintains management agreements with seven rural primary care hospitals, establishing us as the leading rural healthcare network in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota.
