Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, providing the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from a comfortable and convenient location. While most interactions will be virtually based, therapists are encouraged to maintain a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. This approach fosters a healthy work-life balance while ensuring consistent availability for your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs, gathering relevant information to inform personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailored to each patient’s unique situation.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to foster community and provide education on mental health topics ranging from coping strategies to wellness resources.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services, assisting patients in distress and helping them navigate mental health emergencies with empathetic support.

• Educate patients regarding their mental health conditions, treatments, and resource availability within the community, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation according to established legal and ethical standards to ensure quality patient care.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to stay abreast of advancements in mental health therapy.

• Work to foster a positive therapeutic relationship with each patient while instilling hope and promoting recovery and healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base includes individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse issues. At Yuba Health Counseling Center, we emphasize a trauma-informed approach and respect the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our patients. As a therapist, you will work intimately with individuals, couples, and families, focusing on their unique paths to wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Hold a current and valid license as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist in the state of Washington.

• Proven analytical skills for conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment strategies.
\n
• Strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic practices relevant to mental health therapy.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to connect with diverse populations.
\n
• Commitment to ethical practice, professional boundaries, and sound clinical judgment.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications essential for accurate documentation and communication.

• A collaborative spirit to work within a multidisciplinary team framework, contributing to a positive clinical environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
