Work Environment\n

This full-time position allows for a remote work setting, providing you the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life while still being part of a vibrant team. The typical work schedule will run Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally-sensitive mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that take into account each patient's diverse background and personal experiences.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on unique patient concerns aimed at fostering resilience and emotional well-being.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated and comprehensive mental health care.

• Offer crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate care is provided.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development workshops focused on cultural competency.

• Stay up-to-date with current research, treatment methodologies, and relevant cultural considerations impacting mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve a diverse clientele, including individuals from multicultural backgrounds, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrants facing unique challenges. Your ability to deliver culturally responsive care will contribute significantly to improved mental health outcomes and overall patient satisfaction.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and a background in evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy using culturally responsive methods.
\n
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with diverse patient populations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related software applications.

• Commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n
