Work Environment\n

This position operates within a telehealth framework, allowing for flexibility and accessibility in delivering care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure that patients receive well-rounded and coordinated care. The work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some evening shifts as needed to accommodate the diverse requirements of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the specific needs and therapeutic goals of clients seeking substance use disorder treatment.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions, maintaining an empathetic and non-judgmental environment that encourages open communication.

• Lead group therapy sessions, providing peer support and community engagement as vital components of recovery.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses both mental health and addiction issues.

• Respond to substance-related emergencies, offering crisis intervention and immediate support when necessary.

• Educate patients and their families on addiction, recovery methodologies, and available community resources to foster a successful recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the safety and privacy of patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with substance use disorders, ranging from mild to severe addiction. You will assist in their therapeutic journey by fostering resilience, encouraging self-efficacy, and promoting healthy coping strategies. The goal is to provide a safe space for healing and support as they navigate their recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• A current and valid licensure in California as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW is mandatory.
\n
• A solid understanding of substance use disorders, recovery-oriented care, and various evidence-based treatment methodologies is essential.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy, particularly in the context of addiction treatment.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to establish rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.

• An ability to thrive in a collaborative and multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in mental health counseling or substance use disorder treatment is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, along with opportunities for performance-based bonuses. Additionally, new hires are eligible for a sign-on bonus.
