Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cardiovascular assessments, including detailed history taking and physical examinations to evaluate patients’ heart health.
• Educate patients on managing their heart conditions, including their medications, recommended lifestyle changes, and preventive health measures tailored to individual circumstances.
• Monitor patient progress regularly and document clinical findings and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Participate actively in both inpatient and outpatient care settings, coordinating patient follow-up appointments and discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions in care.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying updated with the latest advancements in cardiology practice and integrating evidence-based guidelines into daily operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner role will involve caring for a diverse patient population, including adults with a variety of cardiovascular conditions, ranging from hypertension and coronary artery disease to heart failure and arrhythmias. Our focus is not only on the treatment of existing conditions but also on preventive health and education to reduce the overall incidence of cardiac diseases in our community.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State, with eligibility to practice in a cardiology setting.
• A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in cardiology or a closely related clinical field.
• Demonstrated strong clinical skills in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of cardiac patients.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time role ranges from USD 150,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
