Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct regular individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions via in-person and remote formats based on patient needs.

• Utilize and integrate various evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices tailored to individual client circumstances.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest mental health research and therapies, ensuring best practices are implemented.

• Assess client status through psychological evaluations and develop customized treatment plans that elegantly marry traditional and alternative therapeutic methods.

• Document and maintain thorough client records with accurate and timely progress notes, treatment plans, and session summaries.

• Safeguard client confidentiality and adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and legal standards of practice.

• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with peers to facilitate holistic treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on cancer patients facing a range of psychosocial challenges. This includes but is not limited to those newly diagnosed, those actively receiving treatment, survivors, and family members coping with loss or end-of-life transitions. By fostering a trusting relationship, you will help clients navigate their emotional landscape, offering skills and strategies to enhance their quality of life during difficult times.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually.
