Solutions Engineer

Salary: $85,000 - 100,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree plus 4+ years of experience in sales, presales, or solutions consulting, or alternatively 6+ years of relevant experience in those fields.
• We prefer 5+ years of direct customer-facing experience as a technical partner supporting sales.
• We prefer 5+ years of knowledge of the technical sales process.
• We prefer experience supporting the full customer journey from initial engagement through delivery.
• We prefer experience with SaaS and HaaS environments.
• We prefer working knowledge of Wi-Fi and IP networking fundamentals.
• We prefer familiarity with APIs and common integration methods.
• We prefer a basic understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy best practices.
• We prefer candidates who can reside in Texas or Illinois.
• We prefer candidates who are comfortable with travel up to 25% of the time.

• We serve as a business-technical advisor, helping customers evaluate software options against strategic and operational needs.
• We lead technical discussions to clarify the challenges our platform solves and the architecture required to support those needs.
• We explain how our platform integrates into existing customer environments.
• We maintain technical alignment and ensure clarity for both technical and business stakeholders.
• We partner with Account Executives, Account Managers, and internal teams to move opportunities forward.
• We translate customer challenges into actionable technical requirements.
• We assess whether proposed solutions are feasible and well matched to customer needs.
• We advise customers on the best architectural approaches and usage strategies.
• We represent customer and market ideas back to the product team.
