Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to identify patient needs, and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific challenges and goals.

• Deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy, aimed at effective symptom reduction and skill development.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and provide supportive spaces for patients to share their experiences, fostering community and connection.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention services and guidance during acute mental health emergencies to support patient safety and recovery.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions and available resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their treatment.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a wide range of patients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various cultural backgrounds. Our patient population may present with conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. Your experience in working with diverse populations will play a critical role in delivering effective and culturally sensitive care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.

• A strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic frameworks.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting comprehensive assessments and creating personalized treatment plans.

• Experience in providing individual and group therapy, particularly via telehealth platforms, is preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health counseling is required. Candidates with experience in telehealth services and evidence-based therapy techniques will be prioritized. Previous engagement with crisis intervention and group therapy facilitation is highly desirable.
