Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to establish clear and effective treatment plans for clients, identifying their emotional and psychological needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions suitable for individuals, couples, families, and groups, enhancing their coping mechanisms and emotional resilience.

• Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused techniques to create customized experiences for clients.

• Engage in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to facilitate a holistic approach to mental health care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records while adhering to ethical guidelines and state regulations concerning client confidentiality and professional conduct.

• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and advancements in mental health by participating in professional development workshops and training sessions.

You will work with a diverse population of clients seeking assistance for various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, substance use disorders, and relationship dynamics. Your role is pivotal in guiding clients toward healthier behaviors and improved mental well-being while providing them with the tools necessary for overcoming personal obstacles.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, enabling a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• At least 2 years of clinical counseling experience is essential, demonstrating proficiency in engaging with clients in a therapeutic context.
