Clinical Research Physician - MD for Phase I Site, Madison WI

Fortrea seeks a Clinical Research Physician for a full-time Phase I site position in Madison, WI. The role involves providing medical oversight for clinical trials, conducting participant exams, and supporting regulatory compliance. The position offers Monday-Friday daytime hours with rotating on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite medical coverage and monitoring for healthy volunteer participants
• Conduct pre-study, on-study, and post-study medical examinations
• Review and approve Case Report Forms for data accuracy and protocol compliance
• Serve as Sub-Investigator or Principal Investigator as assigned
• Communicate with clinical teams, regulatory bodies, and trial participants regarding study protocols

Requirements

• MD or DO with active Wisconsin medical license and DEA registration
• CPR/ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in Family Medicine or Primary Care
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic clinical systems
• Strong English communication skills in speaking, writing, and reading
• Clinical trials experience preferred
• Willingness to relocate and obtain state licensure if needed
