Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, providing the flexibility to work from home while engaging with clients via telehealth platforms and other digital communication tools. Our clinic utilizes advanced teletherapy software to ensure smooth delivery of services, while maintaining compliance with all legal and ethical standards for confidentiality and client privacy. The typical working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a crucial role in our team by:

• Conducting detailed assessments to evaluate the nature and extent of mood disorders in clients.

• Collaborating with each client to create personalized treatment plans aimed at their unique goals and needs.

• Employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective interventions.

• Offering educational resources and support to both clients and their families concerning mood disorder management and treatment options.

• Monitoring client progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to the care plan to enhance outcomes.

• Working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of integrated, comprehensive care tailored to each patient's journey.

• Engaging in continuous professional development to remain current on best practices and emerging research in the field of mental health.

• Maintaining thorough, accurate documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals facing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. As you assist clients in navigating their mental health journey, you will ensure culturally competent care for clients from various backgrounds, promoting inclusivity and understanding within all interactions.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
\n
• Strong knowledge of the DSM-5 criteria for mood disorders and mental health treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in the following areas is highly preferred:

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders.

• Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, especially CBT and DBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n
