Work Environment\n

This position operates entirely in a remote telehealth environment, allowing you to connect with clients via video conference and digital communication platforms. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule with operating hours primarily from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. Our team collaborates closely using telecommunication tools, ensuring a seamless flow of information and support while maintaining a strong sense of camaraderie in a virtual setting.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify patients' unique needs and experiences, utilizing both verbal input and standardized assessment tools.

• Generate individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and tailored to reflect the cultural and personal nuances of each patient.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing a wide range of mental health issues while promoting resilience and healthy coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and support staff in a multidisciplinary approach to deliver comprehensive care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient's needs are met.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and stabilization support during mental health emergencies, integrating appropriate crisis management techniques.

• Educate patients and family members about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and community resources that can aid recovery.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal guidelines and ethical standards via electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular case conferences, team meetings, and professional development workshops focused on cultural competency and best practices in mental health care.

• Stay abreast of current research, emerging therapies, and new cultural considerations that influence mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse client base includes individuals from a variety of ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds seeking mental health support. You will work with patients who have varying presentations of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more, ensuring that all services provided are sensitive to the polycultural context of their experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong foundation in mental health treatment modalities and an ability to apply culturally responsive therapeutic practices.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, with a preference for candidates demonstrating expertise in trauma-informed care.

• Proficiency in crisis intervention strategies, exhibiting the capability to maintain composure in high-pressure scenarios.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, fostering trust with patients of diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and digital communication tools essential for telehealth practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
