Charge Nurse (RN) - Neurology - $32-52 per hour

Job Title: Neurology Charge Nurse (RN) Job Overview Location: Valley Park, Missouri. Specialty: Neurology. Position type: Staff. Duration: Ongoing. Role Purpose Under the direction of the manager, coordinates unit activities on a designated shift, provides direct patient care, serves as a clinical resource, and manages nursing processes. Responsibilities Participate in professional development. Promote patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Educate patients and families on illness management and home care, including medication administration. Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with other team members, following nursing guidelines. Provide unit leadership for defined periods using critical thinking and assessment skills. Evaluate patient response and modify care plans accordingly throughout the stay. Minimum Requirements RN license. 2–5 years of nursing experience. Education: Nursing diploma/associate’s degree (or equivalent). Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Supervisor experience preferred but not required.
