Work Environment

This position will be based in our outpatient office, situated in the scenic city of New Brunswick. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to understand patients' needs and goals, ensuring treatment objectives are aligned with their personal health aspirations.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring high-quality, focused care for each client.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring movement capabilities and promoting overall wellness.
• Develop and modify comprehensive treatment plans, integrating a variety of therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy and exercise programs.
• Educate patients on preventative measures and self-management strategies to minimize dependency on medication.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately using EMR software like WebPT, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and intervention strategies.
• Encourage patient engagement and motivation throughout their treatment journey to optimize recovery outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic conditions, which include recovery from surgery, injury rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. As a Physical Therapist at Raze Orthopedics, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population, including athletes, active adults, and seniors, all seeking to improve their mobility and overall health.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current, active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Demonstrated capability in designing and implementing tailored exercise programs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations and tailoring treatment approaches accordingly.
• Prior experience in leading wellness programs or community health initiatives is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
