Key Responsibilities\n

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that clearly outline patients' psychosocial strengths and needs while addressing high-risk situations.

• Facilitate educational and therapeutic group sessions, documenting patient progress through specific therapeutic activities and group interventions.
\n
• Participate in treatment-planning meetings, providing valuable insights on patient progression and response to therapies; collaborate with peers to adjust treatment strategies as necessary.

• Effectively identify and manage resistance and conflicts involving patients, families, and healthcare teams, intervening with strategies to diffuse tension and guide clients in assessing their behaviors and coping mechanisms.

• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting all assessments, interventions, family engagements, and interdisciplinary communications in compliance with social work standards.
\n
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the DSM diagnostic criteria relevant to disorders in children and adolescents, incorporating principles of human growth and development into patient evaluations.
\n
• Utilize techniques such as behavior modification, assertiveness training, and supportive therapy to craft therapeutic interventions for diverse client scenarios.
\n
• Gather and analyze essential data regarding patients’ medical, social, and emotional circumstances through effective interview techniques and collaboration with healthcare teams.

• Continually assess and update treatment plans based on comprehensive psychosocial evaluations, paying attention to patients’ strengths, needs, and cultural or spiritual values.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. Your interventions will focus on creating effective aftercare plans that support long-term recovery and health, ensuring that family dynamics and community resources are integrated into the treatment process.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Independently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on empathy and active listening.
\n
• Highly organized with a track record of managing documentation and records efficiently.
\n
• Proficient in interpreting complex data and following through with detailed reports.

• Ability to demonstrate professional boundaries and ethical conduct in all client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably within addiction treatment, detox facilities, or mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually.
