Job Summary:

Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a setting that exemplifies best practices and outstanding customer service. Essential Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks while balancing short- and long-term goals.
• Apply new knowledge from ongoing education to improve patient care and promote cost-saving measures.
• Make appropriate patient care assignments based on nurse expertise, patient acuity, and technical needs.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills with patients, visitors, physicians, and colleagues, embodying core values such as respect, integrity, collaboration, empathy, and courage.
• Communicate clearly to manage expectations and provide timely responses to patient needs.
• Maintain a therapeutic environment by minimizing noise and supporting healthcare students and their programs.

• Engage in professional growth through leadership opportunities, certifications, and advanced education.

Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems is necessary.
• Area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications must be obtained upon hire and maintained.

Licensure:

Current active Registered Nurse licensure by the appropriate state board is required.
