Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health status through video or phone consultations, identifying their specific needs and challenges.

• Develop tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic modalities, collaborating with clients to set achievable goals.

• Engage clients in regular sessions, providing therapeutic support, guidance, and coping strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Facilitate referrals to additional healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, when medication management or advanced care is necessary.

• Document client progress accurately in our electronic health record system to track treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as needed.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client cases, share insights, and collaborate on innovative treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on providing care to diverse clients with a variety of mental health concerns. These include substance use disorders, chronic anxiety, severe depression, and eating disorders. By utilizing culturally competent and inclusive approaches, you will foster an environment where clients feel understood and valued. Your ability to build rapport and trust will be essential in empowering clients to engage fully in their treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of four years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health counseling role, ideally with a focus on telehealth services.

• A thorough understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, assessing clients' needs effectively.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills with the ability to remain composed in challenging client situations.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant software to manage patient data and treatment plans.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in delivering group therapy sessions in addition to individual counseling.

• Knowledge of and experience with integrated care, and working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 70,000 and 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
