Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct weekly individual therapy sessions for each assigned client, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster their personal development.

• Facilitate group counseling sessions, educational workshops, and meetings according to the structured program schedule, addressing various mental health topics and challenges.

• Assess client needs and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment services and create individualized care plans for your caseload.

• Engage in regular communication with clients' family members and referral sources, ensuring a supportive network for clients during their treatment.

• Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives and attend in-service trainings to enhance your professional skills and integrate best practices into your work.

• Ensure compliance with licensing standards and maintain thorough, accurate client records to uphold quality assurance across the organization.

• Actively contribute to clinical team meetings, sharing insights and progress about client cases and engaging in collaborative treatment planning.

• Assist clients in navigating daily treatment activities and support their efforts in overcoming obstacles encountered during their recovery journey.

• Facilitate the development and updates of treatment plans, guaranteeing the inclusion of a variety of therapeutic modalities to best support client progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of individuals experiencing varying degrees of mental health conditions. Your caseload may include clients from different age groups, backgrounds, and presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and more. A focus on establishing trust and rapport with clients is essential for effective therapy and positive client outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Current licensed credentials in the state of California as an LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT are mandatory, as associate licenses are not billable through Medicare.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to adapt to different technological platforms for clinical documentation.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple caseloads.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with geriatric populations is preferred but not required.
