Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to gather clients’ substance abuse histories and mental health backgrounds.

• Developing personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and co-occurring mental health issues, ensuring tailored strategies for recovery.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

• Collaborating with fellow treatment team members—such as case managers, psychiatric staff, and social workers—to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for each client.

• Educating clients' families about addiction and mental health, enabling them to support their loved ones throughout the recovery process.

• Maintaining precise and timely documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance with all applicable regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse range of clients dealing with substance abuse challenges, including but not limited to alcohol, opioids, and stimulants. This role involves caring for individuals at various stages of recovery, from initial assessments to aftercare, striving to support them in achieving sustainable recovery and reclaiming their lives.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker-R (LCSW-R).

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Demonstrated ability to develop therapeutic relationships with clients and possess strong motivational interviewing skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n
