Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial mental health evaluations to assess clients’ needs and develop tailored therapeutic approaches.

• Facilitate ongoing individual, couples, or group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, comprising psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

• Document all clinical interactions thoroughly in compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accurate client records.

• Engage in regular clinical supervision and team meetings to enhance personal and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals and families facing various life challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your caseload will encompass clients from different cultural backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ individuals and marginalized communities, necessitating a culturally competent approach to care.

Qualifications\n

• Valid License as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of New York is required.

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related mental health field is essential.

• Minimum of two years of relevant post-licensure clinical experience, preferably within outpatient settings or private practices.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, and trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
