Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use challenges, accurately identifying co-occurring disorders that may hinder recovery.

• Collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans for clients, integrating evidence-based interventions that address their unique mental health and substance use needs.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions aimed at equipping clients with essential coping strategies, emotional regulation techniques, and relapse prevention skills.

• Engage with our interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to orchestrate coordinated care efforts that support holistic recovery.

• Perform routine substance use monitoring and apply motivational interviewing techniques to empower and encourage clients throughout their therapeutic journey.

• Educate clients and their families on the complex relationship between mental health and substance use issues, emphasizing the importance of treatment adherence.

• Ensure accurate documentation of client progress, interventions, and referrals in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Actively participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and continuous training focused on best practices and advancements in co-occurring disorders treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals presenting co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, often facing complex and interconnected challenges. Our patient population ranges from adolescents to adults, offering you a diverse and dynamic caseload that allows for meaningful therapeutic engagement and impactful recovery outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid professional licensure in the state as a LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT .

• Proven expertise in evidence-based therapies relevant to co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• An in-depth comprehension of the relationship and interplay between mental health and substance use disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
