Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to thoroughly evaluate clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and areas in need of support.
\n
• Craft individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs and objectives based on intake assessment outcomes.
\n
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing proven modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Document and regularly monitor clients' progress in therapy, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to meet changing needs.
\n
• Engage in collaborative communication with other healthcare professionals — such as psychiatrists and case managers — to coordinate holistic and comprehensive care for clients.

• Advocate for clients' rights, facilitating their access to appropriate mental health services and various community resources to enhance their support systems.

• Uphold stringent confidentiality protocols while adhering to the ethical standards established by state licensing boards and professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse range of client populations, including individuals and families dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, mood disorders, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid LMFT licensure in the state of New York.

• Demonstrable strong understanding of psychopharmacology and experience in working collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, with a specialization in mood disorders preferred.

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies, specifically CBT and DBT, showcasing a successful track record in delivering positive outcomes for clients facing mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
