Total Rewards Manager
$120k - $150kANI Pharmaceuticals
About the Role We are looking for a Total Rewards Manager to provide the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of ANI’s total rewards strategy across compensation, benefits, and beyond. This role partners closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, and business leaders to translate business priorities into scalable programs and governance that support talent attraction, retention, and performance. The ideal candidate is a business-facing rewards leader who combines strong technical knowledge with executive-ready communication. Success in this role requires the ability to influence stakeholders, manage multiple workstreams, and deliver insights through data visualization and AI-enabled analytics. You will help evolve our rewards operating model, improve decision quality through better data and tooling, and ensure compliance and risk management across programs. Responsibilities Support the Total Rewards team to operationalize ANI’s total rewards strategy, aligning compensation, benefits, and recognition priorities to business goals, workforce plans, and budgets. Serve as a partner to HR Business Partners and business leaders on rewards decisions (offers, promotions, retention, job architecture), balancing competitiveness, internal equity, and pay transparency expectations. Partner with Total Rewards Snr Director to lead semi-annual compensation cycles (merit, bonus, equity/long-term incentives as applicable), including process design, communications, training, and stakeholder management. Drive market pricing, benchmarking, and pay equity analyses; interpret external survey data (e.g., Radford and other sources) and recommend program/structure changes with clear business impact. Partner with Benefits vendors to evaluate program design, employee experience, and cost trends; translate insights into recommendations and business cases. Build executive-ready reporting and storytelling (dashboards, scorecards, narratives) to inform leadership decisions on total rewards investments and outcomes. Leverage AI and advanced analytics to improve insights and efficiency—e.g., automating recurring analyses, detecting anomalies in rewards data, and generating draft communications and decision summaries (with appropriate review and controls). Partner with HRIS, Payroll, and Finance to ensure data quality, process controls, and scalable workflows across systems (Oracle and ADP experience preferred), enabling accurate reporting and audit readiness. Support compliance and risk management for total rewards, partnering with Legal to ensure adherence to applicable federal and state requirements (e.g., FLSA, ERISA, ACA) and support audits and disclosures. Manage and continuously improve recognition and engagement programs, measuring effectiveness and recommending enhancements that reinforce culture and performance. Requirements Bachelor’s in economics, finance, business, liberal arts, or a related field 5+ years of progressive experience in total rewards, benefits, compensation, HR, finance, or consulting, with demonstrated ownership of programs and cycles. Demonstrated ability to influence and advise leaders with clear, business-oriented recommendations; comfort presenting to senior stakeholders. Experience with benefits management – working with insurance providers, benefits enrollment, understanding of benefit offerings etc. Experience with compensation structures, job evaluation/job architecture, benchmarking, and pay equity analysis; familiarity with survey tools and sources (e.g., Radford). Strong analytical and data management skills; advanced Excel required, and Power BI (or similar) strongly preferred. AI familiarity and curiosity: ability to use and learn new practices using generative AI and analytics tools to accelerate reporting, insights, and communications while applying appropriate judgment, confidentiality, and review standards. Experience working with HRIS/Payroll systems and cross-functional process design; preferred experience in Oracle HRIS and ADP. Strong project management, change management, and process improvement skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. High integrity and discretion with confidential employee and business information; strong collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment. The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000; the exact salary depends on various factors such as experience, skills, education, location, competencies and industry-specific knowledge. ANI Pharmaceuticals offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off.
