Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a candidate with 1+ years of accounts payable experience looking to work 20-30 hours a week. This role is a standard AP Specialist position- processing vendor invoices, managing vendors, weekly check runs, and other general accounting responsibilities like supporting reconcilliations & audits. Candidates with the right experience and interest in the role are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing & Management: Oversee the end-to-end invoice workflow—from initial data entry and accuracy verification to compliance checks and batch processing into Oracle.

• Vendor Management & Compliance: Onboard and maintain relationships with department vendors, ensuring all compliance and documentation requirements are met using internal systems.

• Reporting & Data Review: Maintain and review accurate records in internal systems, providing regular financial reports and updates to department leadership.

• Audit Support: Assist the finance team with tax audits by pulling required documentation, schedules, and historical records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting operations.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle (or similar enterprise ERP software).
